Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, is proud to announce that Jon Clark, the managing attorney of our Austin office, has been elected to serve as the 2019 Chair of the Advocates Committee Board of Directors for the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA). TTLA is an organization founded in 1949 to protect Texas families through empowering trial lawyers to hold those responsible for injuring Texans accountable, thus making Texas safer. The Advocates Committee is composed of TTLA members who have been in the organization 10 years or less and is the largest standing committee within the organization. The Advocates Board helps to facilitate opportunities for younger members to participate in and shape the Association’s objectives and serves as a means to identify potential future leaders of TTLA.
Jon works with TTLA to ensure our clients retain their opportunity to seek justice through exercise of the right to trial by jury. He has been a member of TTLA since law school, currently serves on the organization’s Board of Directors and on the membership committee, and is looking forward to serving the organization as chair-elect of the Advocates Board in 2018 and chair in 2019. As a result of Jon’s service to our clients and the profession, Jon has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer Rising Star and named to the Top 40 Under 40 for Civil Plaintiff’s Law by the National Trial Lawyers, as well as numerous other recognitions.
