Drivers must use extreme cation when driving in abnormal conditions like construction zones or when pedestrians are present. A failure to do so often has fatal consequences. If it is shown that the driver was at fault, the family of the road worker could have a wrongful death claim against the driver. Anytime someone is killed or seriously injured, their family members should seek the advice of an attorney to determine what legal remedies they might be entitled to.
