Truck Flies Through Austin Intersection Crashing into Several Vehicles and Injuring Six

A Franco’s Trucking vehicle slammed into the back of a stopped car at 2222 and Jester Blvd. Friday morning, continuing into the intersection, striking other vehicles before sliding off the road and down 15 feet into a creek bed. The driver of the truck nearly died when the truck caught on fire. He’s alive today because someone pulled him from the truck just in time. Six people were injured in the crash. U.S. Department of Transportation records show Franco’s Trucking had a crash back in August 2015, but also has 20 violation stemming from five inspections ranging from December 2014 to October 2015.

The entire crash was caught on video by dash camera.
