GVILAW would like to congratulate senior partner Kevin Glasheen on receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award from Texas Tech University School of Law. The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes an alumnus who has made significant contributions to the bench, bar and community and whose accomplishments and careers have brought credit to the law school and to the legal profession as a whole.
Glasheen graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1988 From 1995-2015, Glasheen served as a Board of Director of the Texas Tech Law School Foundation and from 2012-2013 he served as President of the Texas Tech University School of Law Alumni Association. In 2021, Glasheen donated $500,000 to the Texas Tech School of Law to establish a scholarship supporting law students from the West Texas area.
Glasheen has a history of giving back to his community and law school.
