LUBBOCK, TX – September 17, 2025 – Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers (GVILAW) was honored once again to participate in the 42nd Annual Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) City Bank Celebration Broadcast on KCBD NewsChannel 11, benefiting UMC Children’s Hospital.
This year’s broadcast was a tremendous success, raising an incredible $1.7 million to directly support life-saving equipment, essential programs, and the renovation of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UMC Children’s Hospital.
In addition to volunteering at the United Supermarkets Phone Bank, where attorneys Laney Piercy and Kenny Morris were among the GVILAW team answering calls, GVILAW proudly donated $5,000 to this year’s campaign. “UMC Children’s Hospital provides the highest level of pediatric care in our region, and the impact of these donations cannot be overstated,” said partner attorney Noe Valles. “It’s inspiring to see our community come together year after year to support children and families right here in West Texas.”
UMC Children’s Hospital is the only Children’s Miracle Network hospital in the region and continues to provide world-class care, including:
- A Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Pediatric Level II Trauma Center verification
- Specialized pediatric burn care at the Timothy J. Harnar Regional Burn Center
- Child Life Play Areas, Teen Room, and the new Panda Pediatric Playground
- Comprehensive behavioral health services for children
Funds raised at this year’s broadcast will help transform the NICU into a more private, family-centered space, ensuring the tiniest patients and their families receive the very best care possible.
