Ask the Lawyer | How do I know if I have a case?

Question:

How do I know if I have a case?

Answer:

The first question we always ask is, “Do you have a major injury?” If you do have a major injury, then it’s always worth having an attorney look into it to see if you have a case.

Examples of major injuries include broken bones, amputations, or loss of life.

If people aren’t sure, they can call us. Let us know what happened. And based on our experience, we can let people know whether we think in our opinion if they have a case.

A lot of times, we’ve had people call us thinking they didn’t have a case, but once we start talking to them, we realize it’s a very good case because of the major injury.
