Medina’s client was rear-ended while on the access ramp headed southbound on I-27 in Lubbock, Tex. Calling it a just verdict, Medina said this will go a long way to helping his client recover. “This verdict shows that our jury system works, and we appreciate the attentiveness and hard work of the jury. This verdict will secure my client’s future and provide for all of the care he will need. Our work is not done, and our firm will continue to fight for those who have been injured.”

The defendants were represented by Eliott Nixon from Crenshaw, Dupree, and Milam.

Before trial, the defendants’ highest offer was $75,000, and Medina’s last demand was significantly less than what they jury ended up giving his client.
