GVILAW: Advocating for Safety at the 2024 Walk Like MADD

On October 5, 2024, Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers (GVILAW) proudly stood at the forefront of the 2024 Walk Like MADD Lubbock event as the presenting sponsor. This signature fundraising event, held at the Lubbock Courthouse Square, brought together community members to raise awareness and funds to combat drunk and drugged driving.

The Walk Like MADD event unites the community in a commitment to No More Victims. Participants came together to advocate for safer roads, highlighting MADD’s significant impact, having saved over 353,000 lives and served more than 823,000 victims nationwide.

Senior Partner Noe Valles, Senior Partner Pedro Leyva, and Attorney David Glasheen represented Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers at the event, demonstrating our firm’s unwavering dedication to community safety and our commitment to advocating against impaired driving. Reflecting on the importance of the Walk Like MADD event, Noe Valles stated, “As legal professionals, we’ve seen firsthand the devastating impact of drunk driving on families and communities. Our participation in Walk Like MADD is more than just sponsorship – it’s a pledge to stand with our community in the fight against impaired driving. We believe that by supporting MADD’s mission, we can contribute to making our roads safer for everyone.”

By participating in Walk Like MADD, attendees raised awareness about the devastating effects of impaired driving on families and communities. The funds generated from this event will directly support MADD’s critical programs aimed at preventing drunk and drugged driving, as well as providing essential assistance to victims and their families. MADD’s initiatives play a vital role in advocating for stronger laws and promoting public safety, ensuring that fewer lives are impacted by these preventable tragedies.

To further support this important cause, we encourage everyone to visit MADD’s website and consider making a donation. Every contribution helps save lives and supports families affected by impaired driving.
