Karla’s fluency in English and Spanish has been an invaluable asset. She understands that effective communication is the cornerstone of building trust and understanding between attorney and client. By speaking directly with clients in their preferred language, she is able to alleviate any language barriers and foster a deep sense of connection.
Karla grew up in the Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville, Texas. She was raised speaking Spanish as her primary language as her parents both speak Spanish predominantly. She is the first in her family to attend and graduate college. Karla attended Texas Tech School of Law where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she joined Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers as a law clerk. She became a licensed attorney in New Mexico in 2021 and immediately began managing the Albuquerque office.
Karla’s dedication to serving the community extends beyond her day-to-day legal career. She participates in weekly live interviews answering
common personal injury questions with Partner Noe Valles on Radio Lobo – KLVO, she helps put new shoes on kids during KRQE shoe drives and has participated in numerous other community events. Karla is proud to be part of the Albuquerque community.
