El Paso, TX — April 29, 2026- At Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers, we are proud to announce a three-year extension of our partnership with the Sun Bowl Association as title sponsor of the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade — one of El Paso’s most cherished holiday traditions.
During a press conference held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the Sun Bowl Association also revealed the Grand Marshal and theme for this year’s parade. The Grand Marshal for the 90th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Thanksgiving Day Parade will be the Amigo Man, and the theme will be “Famous Sports & Movie Scenes.”
For the past several years, we have been honored to support a parade that brings families, businesses, schools, and communities across the Borderland together every Thanksgiving morning. As the parade celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2026, we are excited to continue helping grow an event that means so much to El Paso.
“This parade is something a lot of El Paso families grow up with, and we’re proud to continue being part of it,” said Senior Partner Noe Valles. “Thanksgiving morning in El Paso just wouldn’t feel the same without the Sun Bowl Parade. We’re excited to help celebrate its 90th anniversary and see the Amigo Man recognized this year because it’s such a big part of the city’s identity and culture.”
Originally founded on February 16, 1976, the Amigo Man was created to serve as an ambassador for El Paso and symbolize the city’s welcoming spirit and vibrant culture. Designed by Clive Cochran, the Amigo Man has remained one of the city’s most recognizable and beloved symbols for decades.
This year’s parade theme, “Famous Sports & Movie Scenes,” will bring iconic moments from sports and entertainment history to life through creative and colorful floats built by participants from across the region.
The 90th Annual Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade will take place Thanksgiving morning on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026, at 10 a.m. MT along Montana Avenue in El Paso and will be televised live on KTSM 9 News.
