Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyer’s Support of Camp Amistad 2023
Every year, Glasheen, Valles and Inderman Injury Lawyers (GVILAW) collaborate with the UMC Burn Unit to organize an incredibly heartwarming event known as Camp Amistad. This year on June 24, 2023, the annual event was held at Sun’ N Fun in Lubbock, Texas. This year’s theme, “Let’s go Wild,” brought together a community of people for a summer day filled with warmth, joy, and adventure. GVILAW attorneys David Glasheen, Nick Pena, and Anthony Holm joined in to meet the families and share the support of the firm.
The Safari theme transported everyone into a world of wild wonders. Attendees were welcomed into a warm and accepting atmosphere, where burn survivors, their families, and volunteers formed connections and reconnected with their medical team of nurses and doctors.
Arts and crafts stations allowed participants to unleash their creativity, enjoy a safari-themed photo booth, and even hang out with a lemur and kangaroo.
“At GVILAW, we believe in the power of giving back,” said attorney Anthony Holm. “By partnering with the UMC burn unit, this day is an opportunity to connect, share and overall, have a great time alongside people who have been in similar, unfortunate situations.”
