Teen Airlifted Following Crash

According to KCBD, a teenager ended up being airlifted to the hospital after being involved in a car accident in East Lubbock County. The accident occurred on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, during the early morning hours.

According to the report, the driver was a 16-year-old and was northbound on County Road 3300. The accident actually occurred at the intersection of County Road 3300 and FM 3525. The teenager ran a stop sign and hit another vehicle, driven by a 52-year-old man.

The teenager apparently suffered the worst of the injuries and was listed in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle was driven to the hospital.

At the time of the report, police were still looking into what actually caused the accident and no further information was available.

Intersection Accidents

Running stoplights and stop signs is among the leading causes of traffic accidents, including some of the worst traffic accidents imaginable. When drivers do this and cause somebody else to suffer personal or property damage, they can sometimes hire the services of an attorney and seek compensation.

As of the time of the reporting, nobody was specified as being to blame for the accident but, as is the case with any such incident, police will conduct an investigation. Personal injury attorneys will sometimes conduct separate investigations, as they are looking for liability rather than evidence of criminality and use that information to bolster their client’s claims in court. For some people, this is the only realistic way to get enough money to pay for damage caused during the accident.
